1. Dr. Ildaura Murillo Rohde: A Life in Medicine

Ildaura Murillo Rohde was born in Puerto Rico in 1965. She received her medical degree from the University of Puerto Rico School of Medicine in 1992. She completed her residency in family medicine at the University of Puerto Rico Medical Center in 1996.

Dr. Murillo Rohde is a board-certified family physician. She has been in practice for over 20 years. She is fluent in English and Spanish.

Dr. Murillo Rohde has a special interest in women’s health, pediatrics, and preventive medicine. She is a strong advocate for patient education and believes that informed patients are better able to make decisions about their health care.

Dr. Murillo Rohde is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians. The Puerto Rico Academy of Family Physicians, and the Puerto Rico Medical Association.

2. From Pediatrician to Public Health Leader

Ildaura Murillo Rohde is a pediatrician and public health leader who has dedicated her career to improving the health and well-being of children and families. She is the founding director of the Puerto Rico Child Health Initiative, a non-profit organization that provides health care and other services to children and families in Puerto Rico.

Dr. Murillo Rohde was born and raised in Puerto Rico. 3. Dr. Rohde’s Work in Guatemala

Dr. Ildaura Murillo Rohde is a Guatemalan doctor who has worked extensively in public health, both in her home country and internationally. She is currently the Director of the National Institute of Public Health of Guatemala (INSP). And has served in this role since 2016. Prior to her current position, Rohde worked as the Director of Health for the Municipality of Guatemala City, where she oversaw the implementation of the city’s health care system. She has also worked as a doctor in various rural areas of Guatemala, providing medical care to underserved populations.

Rohde’s work in Guatemala has focused on improving access to quality healthcare, particularly for marginalized populations. She has worked to strengthen the country’s primary health care system and to improve the quality of care provided. She has also been involved in efforts to address the high rates of maternal and child mortality in Guatemala. In addition to her work in Guatemala, Rohde has also worked on health projects in other countries in Central America and the Caribbean.

4. Dr. Rohde’s Legacy
